Eat Your Greens To Prevent Brittle Bones

Fruit and Vegetables are rich in potassium as well as magnesium which are essential to protect against the loss of calcium. Leafy greens and vegetable oils contain vitamin K which can reduce the risk of hip fracture by 80%.
Avoid processed food and be careful with adding salt in general as salt (sodium) can leach calcium out of the bones. Processed food often has a high content of salt!
